OneCoin – Diving into the deeps of gullibility

Never underestimate the gullibility of scam victims!

I always knew that some of the members of OneCoin would simply refuse to acknowledge the fact that they were scammed – even if Ruja Ignatova herself would come smacking the truth into their heads. In a way she has already done that via the evidence published by US investigators. But the rubbery bending of the gullibility of the members is just astonishing.

I have been a member of some OneCoin related Facebook groups for some time now observing their behaviour and occasionally spreading some information to the scam victims. I used my own Facebook account so I wasn't hiding my identity.

The groups I was attending were:
Sebastian Greenwood Onecoin Inspiration (over 7000 members at the moment)
Onecoin Official Group (nearly 6000 member at the moment)

Diving into the abyss of gullibility

As many of you readers already know, soon after Konstantin Ignatov was arrested in March 2019 US Department of Justice published all the necessary evidence for anyone with a half of a brain to conclude that OneCoin was nothing more than a scam.

A press release pulished on 8 March 2019 reveals undeniable facts proving OneCoin as a scam and includes also indictments of Mark Scott and Ruja Ignatova as well as the complaint against Konstantin Ignatov.

Among all other crushing evidence the following direct quotes from the scammers themselves can be found in the documents:

Ruja Ignatova: "Take the money and run and blame someone else for this."
(While discussing about an exit strategy for the scam with Sebastian Greenwood.)

Sebastian Greenwood: "These ppl are idiots."
(Referring to the members of OneCoin.)

Konstantin Ignatov: "The network would not work with intelligent people"
(Respond to the Greenwood's comment above.)

Quoting the press release:
"OneCoins are not mined using computer resources. Moreover, the investigation has revealed that IGNATOVA and her co-founder conceived of and built the OneCoin business fully intending to use it to defraud investors."

Those above are only a fraction of all the evidence that was published.

All this information and much more have also been provided multiple times to the Facebook groups that I was attending. I find it likely that many of the members have read the court documents, at least they must know by now that Konstantin Ignatov has been arrested. I also believe that all top scammers of OneCoin must have read those documents and thus are perfectly aware about the indictments and evidence gathered by the US investigators.

One would easily err to think that all this would be enough for even to the most simple minded members to draw the right conclusions about OneCoin being a scam. Well, it ain't.

Here's an example how a member reacts to the evidence mentioned above:

Well, at least he's honest.

I have tried to reason with many OneCoin members in those Facebook groups, but those who dare to talk are absolutely delusional and they seem to be totally incapable of absorbing factual information that is against their beliefs.

Many of the members think that the whole world is against them and the vision of the beloved founder, Ruja Ignatova. They also seem to delusionally consider Bitcoin as their rival and often accuse people criticising OneCoin as members of Bitcoin – which is ridiculous considering that real currencies don't usually come with a membership.

It's also popular among OneCoin members to accuse critics as "paid haters". Apparently there's a mysterious third party financing a worldwide hate campaign against OneCoin that has been going on since the scam started. I myself have been many times referred as a paid hater.

However, it looks like there are some top representatives of OneCoin worried about increasing criticism because I recently had a Master Distributor of OneLife and a member of the Global Leaders Group throwing accusations and threats towards me.

Master Distributor Habib Abdul Rehman (aka Habib Zahid)

OneCoin's Master Distributor Habib Abdul Rehman (aka Habib Zahid) emerged in a group commenting to my posts and taking a threatening tone with me:

– I'd sure like to know where's my money from "hating". I've been told by onecoiners that there's big money involved in this hating business, so I want my share.

Well, I responded to Habib Zahib because I don't take threats lightly:

A Master Distributor of the biggest ponzi-pyramid scam ever accuses me for ruining people's lives. These scammers have no moral backbone whatsoever. "Take the money and run and blame someone else for this." – Does that sound familiar?

More threats from Habib Zahid:

You made it to my list already.

Habib Zahid, Master Distributor of OneLife. He knows how to point his fingers at someone else.

Dusan Torbica, a member of Global Misleaders Group

Here's Dusan Torbica, a member of OneLife's GLG (Global Leaders Group) urging the members to point their anger towards me and others opposing the scam:

– So apparently I have the power to destruct their precious ponzi? Why are they so worried if they consider OneCoin legitimate and even think that an exchange is going to be launched in 10 days?

Despite he was actively online at the time Dusan Torbica refused to comment to this question:

– I don't know about the members but I think they should find it disturbing that not even the leaders know that they all have been registered to a company that doesn't exist. In fact Dusan Torbica doesn't seem to even know who's the CEO of the company:

Update: September 11, 2019

Still trying to get some answer from Dusan Torbica:

As usual Dusan Torbica disappears as soon as someone asks him questions.

After a while Dusan popped by to give a lame excuse for not answering any of the questions:

Update 18 September 2019

Yesterday Habib Abdul Rehman (aka Habib Zahid) announced that he has resigned from the position as Master Distributor of OneLife. He has also removed or hidden the content of his Facebook page and refuses to comment anything.

Today morning I asked him to answer me for all the threatening and lies about me he had posted a week ago. I was not surprised not to receive an answer. Instead Habib Abdul Rehman has blocked me a while ago on Facebook.

    1. Moreover, there's no legitimate business or project with people acting like criminals.

  2. OneCoin pimps: "We promoted a pyramid fraud (and also a Ponzi fraud) and unsurprisingly it did NOT become the 'future of payments'. Now investors are mad and want to know why they have lost their money."

Also OneCoin pimps: "IT'S BECAUSE OF THOSE PAID HATERS!!!!!"

    1. Exactly, why on earth it would fail if OneCoin were legit and not a ponzi-pyramid scam. It's not like the bunch of 20 or so "haters" are preventing people from buying their coins.
